Mother Erica Andersen began serving at St John’s in August 2025.   Erica previously served as curate at St Andrew’s McKinney, with a focus on adult formation.  Prior to that, she served as seminarian at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wauwatosa Wisconsin.  She has also enjoyed serving in diocesan youth ministry programs in Dallas.   

She grew up in Lubbock before attending Southwestern University in Georgetown, where she studied Classics and English. She also holds an MEd in Montessori education from Loyola University in Maryland. She received her MDiv in May 2024 from Nashotah House.  Her hobbies include hiking, crochet, reading, and gardening.  She and her husband Tim have been married since 1999 and have three children. Tim is a mathematician and enjoys singing in church.
